With Brexit fast approaching we are all looking ahead to the future of shipments in and out of Europe in the coming months and years. We know that whatever deal is struck between Europe and the UK, it will impact the shipping and freight forwarding industry enormously.
In October, Lysander Shipping assisted our Korean partners with an import into Leghorn, Italy. The cargo was shipped via RORO vessel from Masan, Korea on 1 x 40’Mafi trailer, measuring 8.32 x 3.73 x 3.25m and weighed 45,889kgs.
In September 2020, as the freight and logistics industry is starting to overcome to obstacles of Covid-19, Lysander Shipping arranged for the shipment of another Break Bulk shipment consisting of 4 x pieces of Spur Pinion Gear Units at 218,000kgs and nearly 250cbm.
In January, Lysander Shipping arranged for the shipment of 4 transformers (measuring 600 x 350 x 400cm at 55000kgs each) from the UK Midlands, via London Gateway, to Abu Dhabi for BIFP project.
